Millennium Laboratories Announces New General Counsel Martin Price and Chief Compliance Officer Janna Sipes

SAN DIEGO, June 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Millennium Laboratories, a leading provider of medication monitoring services to physicians and staff treating chronic pain, announced today the hiring of Martin Price as General Counsel and Janna Sipes as Senior Vice President, Regulatory Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer.

As Millennium Laboratories General Counsel, Mr. Price will oversee all legal affairs of the company. Prior to joining Millennium, Mr. Price was a Partner with the international law firm of Hogan Lovells US LLP, where he served as Millennium's outside counsel.  In addition to his work for Millennium, Mr. Price acted as lead counsel on behalf of several Fortune 500 corporations in defending class actions, government investigations, and prosecuting litigation against competitors.  His substantial healthcare expertise covers the full spectrum of federal and state compliance matters for clinical testing laboratories, including the federal Stark and anti-kickback laws, HIPAA, Hi-Tech and state rules and regulation. He holds a B.A. degree from the George Washington University and a M.A. degree from Duke University. He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.
