Millicorp to Represent Smaller VoIP Providers in FCC's VoIP Numbering Trial

FORT MYERS, Fla., June 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Millicorp released the following statement in response to the announcement today by the Federal Communications Commission that Millicorp has been selected to participate in a six-month technical trial of the direct provision of telephone numbering resources to voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) providers.  On April 18^th, the Commission released an Order offering a select group of VoIP providers an opportunity to apply to participate in a technical trial of the provision of direct access to telephone numbers.  The trial is intended to assist the Commission to evaluate whether VoIP providers should be provided with direct access to telephone numbers on a permanent basis.  Today, the Commission granted Millicorp's application to participate in the trial.  Millicorp is one of only five entities that will be involved with the trial.
