Milton Security Group Announces New Role and Continuing Support For BSides Las Vegas
FULLERTON, Calif., May 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Milton Security Group Inc., the leader in network EdgeWall technology, announces its continued support of BSides Las Vegas for the fourth year in a row. BSides Las Vegas is a completely volunteer-based Information/Security Conference that is enjoying its 6th successful year. This original BSides conference location has inspired hundreds of other locally supported BSides conferences worldwide. This year's BSides Las Vegas will be held August 4th & 5th during the same week as BlackHat & DEFCON.
Coming off of 2014, which is popularly referred to as 'The Year of the Data Breach,' BSides Las Vegas' mission is to disseminate information about data security, free of charge, to the public. BSides is a completely free conference that anyone can attend. BSides has cultivated a reputation for presenting critical information in a way more akin to a discussion forum than a lecture hall.
BSidesLV is a non-profit organization designed to advance the body of Information Security knowledge, by providing an annual, two day, open forum for discussion and debate for security engineers and their affiliates, BSides produces a conference that is a source of education, collaboration, and continued conversation for information technologists and those associated with this field.
