CARDIFF, Calif., May 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Mind Technologies, Inc. (MTI) (http://mindtechnologiesinc.com) (Pink Sheets: JEDM), a leader in thought controlled technology applications and software, announced today that the Company has completed the final paperwork for the name / symbol change. Following the transfer agent verification process, we expect to receive an official date for the name / symbol change to occur this month. In addition to reflecting the new name and symbol, the Company's CUSIP number will be replaced with a new one.
"While some may think the ticker symbol change is insignificant, we believe that the change will better reflect the business of Mind Technologies. Additionally, we have been tracking the reports from SHO and our management team feels that our stock has been shorted significantly over the last year," said Brent Fouch, President and CEO of Mind Technologies, Inc. "So, any brokerage firm that is short shares of JEDM will be forced to cover their position by buying in the open market," Fouch said. The Company expects this event to have a very positive effect on the share price of JEDM in the short term.
