Miramonte Resort & Spa's Annual Desert Holidays Program $99 Rate

INDIAN WELLS, Calif., Sept. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Miramonte Resort & Spa, located in prestigious Indian Wells near Palm Springs, rings in the holiday season with a special vacation rate of $99 per night throughout the Desert Holidays program – an annual celebration at the resort beginning the day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day 2012.

Featuring entertainment and activities every day, the program not only celebrates the holidays with Santa's workshops, holiday story times, roasting chestnuts, creating gingerbread houses and other festive activities, but also includes cooking classes, chef dinners, musical entertainment, wine tastings, star gazing and more.

With the unveiling of the Gingerbread Village the day after Thanksgiving, other family fun events include holiday story times, Santa's Workshops with crafts, cookie decorating, roasting chestnuts, and making s'mores while sipping hot cocoa around the fire pit; and a Letters to Santa drop box in the lobby.  Adults can partake in cooking classes with the hotel chef, and wine tastings and pairings, while everyone can enjoy music, singing performances and delectable dining in between activities.  

Notably, the resort offers holiday dining encompassing not only special meals and buffets for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve, but also a daily "Holiday Dining Around the World," a rotation of traditional dining from countries across the globe every day, available in The Grove restaurant.  

In addition, every Saturday at 9 p.m., guests can join an astronomer under the desert night sky to explore planets, stars and galaxies through the Star Gazer Telescope, perhaps mapping Santa's path for deliveries on Christmas Eve.
