Miravast Appoints David Beckelman as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary

JERSEY CITY, N.J., May 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Miravast, a recently launched risk management firm specializing in life contingent assets, announced today that David Beckelman, former Senior Vice President and Chief Life Actuary of AIG/Chartis Risk Solutions has joined Miravast as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Actuary.

Beckelman, who was instrumental in the financial and performance management of Chartis' life settlement portfolio, brings more than 15 years of insurance industry experience to Miravast.

Throughout his tenure in the insurance industry, Beckelman has held various senior positions in new product development and portfolio management.  Beckelman holds a B.S. in Actuarial Mathematics from University of Michigan, College of Literature, Science and Arts and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
