As a special sneak peak Mission Workshop will debut their new modular backpack system that is due to launch later in the month. The Berlin store is the third installment of their roving pop-up store and follows the successful completion of both the London and Brussels endeavors.
The store also features a unique art exhibit showing the brand's history, manufacturing processes and product evolution. According to co-founder Bart Kyzar, "Berlin has been a really exciting project. The city is central to German art and design and it has been really inspiring to us. Our goal is to share the Mission Workshop story and show a bit of our philosophy towards product development."
Another San Francisco company, the Bicycle Coffee Co., will be joining Mission Workshop to serve their small-batch roasted organic and fair-trade Arabica beans daily. This collaboration will bring together their shared influences of bikes, art, coffee and design and transplant a little bit of San Francisco to the center of Berlin.
