NEW YORK, March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MLV & Co announced today that Natasha Boyden has joined the firm to captain the launch of a new research vertical focused on Marine Transportation and Shipping. She will work out of the New York office.

Ms. Boyden previously provided Marine Transportation and Shipping coverage for Global Hunter Securities, Cantor Fitzgerald and Sidoti & Company. In 2006 and 2007, she was ranked as one of the top 5 Analysts of the Year by The Wall Street Journal. Ms. Boyden is a frequent contributor to major news and media outlets. She began her career in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and holds a B.A. in Economics and Social History from the University of Bristol.
