Paul Morgan Joins from Morgan Stanley as Managing Director and Senior REIT Analyst

NEW YORK, July 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MLV & Co. announced today that Paul Morgan has joined the firm's equity research team as a managing director and senior equity analyst from Morgan Stanley. Mr. Morgan will work out of the San Francisco Bay Area and focus his stock coverage on Retail and Healthcare REITs. Working closely with Ryan Meliker, MLV's senior analyst covering Lodging and Apartment REITs, and Jon Petersen, MLV's Commercial REIT analyst, Paul will help spearhead MLV's continued growth in the REIT sector.

Mr. Morgan has fourteen years of experience as a senior analyst covering REITs, including most recently at Morgan Stanley, where he led the U.S. REIT research team for the past five years. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Mr. Morgan was managing director and group head of REIT Equity Research at FBR Capital Markets. Paul's experience also includes senior REIT analyst positions at Citigroup, PaineWebber, and Thomas Weisel Partners. He holds an M.A. in Economics from Princeton University and a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
