Mobile Industry Leader John Chapple Joins Unwired Nation as Chairman of the Board

AUSTIN, Texas, May, 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Unwired Nation, a mobile banking platform provider for community banks and credit unions, announced that John Chapple has joined the company as its Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Chapple has over 30 years of leadership experience in the mobile and telecommunication industries having served as President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Nextel Partners and its subsidiaries leading the company through its acquisition by Sprint Communications in 2006 for $9.5 billion. He is currently the President of Hawkeye Investments LLC, a private equity firm investing primarily in telecommunications and real estate ventures.
