Modell's selects MICROS for improved POS and CRM

WESTBORO, Mass., May 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MICROS-Retail, a division of MICROS Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRS), and leading provider of retail technology for the specialty and general merchandise retail industry, today announced Modell's launch of MICROS-Retail's Xstore Point-of-Service (POS), Relate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and miStore mobile POS.

Modell's selected MICROS-Retail Xstore as part of its initiative to transform the customer experience, modernize IT for the stores, and streamline day-to-day functions.  Modell's will also leverage mobility in its stores with MICROS-Retail miStore, allowing sales associates to better and more quickly serve customers on the floor with detailed product information.
