WOODBURY, Minn., Aug. 31, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Moe's Southwest Grill is bringing its bold flavors and signature hospitality to the Twin Cities area with the opening of its first traditional restaurant in the market. Opening September 4 at 6671 Valley Creek Road, Suite 301 in Woodbury, the new location marks an important milestone in the brand's regional expansion and introduces local guests to the full Moe's restaurant experience.
To mark the occasion, Moe's Woodbury will host a grand opening celebration on September 4 beginning at 10:30 a.m. The first 50 guests in line will receive 'Burritos on Us for a Year.'* Attendees will also have a chance to enjoy giveaways throughout the day by taking a spin on a prize wheel featuring Moe's merchandise, free menu items, kids' meals and other surprises.
While Moe's currently serves travelers at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, the Woodbury restaurant is the brand's first brick-and-mortar location in the Twin Cities area. Guests can now visit Moe's and enjoy its signature menu of customizable burritos, bowls, stacks, tacos, quesadillas and nachos, all made to order and served with complimentary chips and salsa.

Meet the Local Entrepreneur Behind Moe's Woodbury
The new 2,605-square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by Twin Cities resident Satnam Dhillon, whose journey to franchise ownership began after a successful career helping some of the world's leading companies solve complex business and supply chain challenges.
After years working with global organizations, Dhillon set his sights on building something of his own. Drawn by the opportunity to make a direct impact in his community and his affinity for the brand, he pursued entrepreneurship through restaurant ownership and found a natural fit with Moe's Southwest Grill.

Inspired by the guest experience he encountered across the country, Dhillon is helping introduce Moe's to a new generation of Minnesota consumers, starting with Woodbury and continuing with a second Twin Cities-area location planned for Apple Valley.
