Moniker and SnapNames Announce Three Auctions Featuring Premium Domain Names and Developed Web Sites

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Over the next 35 days Oversee.net® companies Moniker® and SnapNames® will host three separate auctions for premium domain names and Web sites. The auctions will feature some of the world's most appealing and valuable Internet real estate properties, including names like Restaurants.com and Smile.com, as well as fully developed Web sites like Wifi.com and Maid.com.

Each of the three auctions features a different theme, with the first focusing on high value German names, the second focusing on developed sites like Maid.com and Wifi.com, and the third and final auction focusing on high-value keyword domain names. All three auctions will have live in-person and online components.

These auctions follow the August Moniker and SnapNames premium auction held at DOMAINfest® New York which generated more than $3 million. Domains sold at the New York event included Quotes.com  ($1.1 million), Disco.com ($255,000) and a T-Shirts.com domain bundle that sold for $1.265 million.  

The DomainvermarkterForum 2010 Live German Domain Name Auction features premium German keyword and ccTLD domains. The live auction and online bidding interface provide both English and German options. Bidding for the auction will be in Euros.
