Montera Appoints Justin J. Landfair as Chief Legal Officer

Landfair brings extensive experience in data centers and critical infrastructure to Montera's world-class leadership team

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Montera Infrastructure, which is scaling the next generation of digital infrastructure, has named Justin J. Landfair as its Chief Legal Officer. In this role, Landfair will build and lead Montera's legal function as the company scales its first hyperscale campuses, with responsibility for legal, regulatory, and compliance matters and for the outside counsel panel and internal team that he will build to support them. He will also help shape the company's approach to governance, risk management, and capital formation, and build the contractual framework that will serve as a foundation for Montera's development program, including land acquisition, site development, interconnection, construction, customer leasing, and long-term operations.

Landfair joins Montera from Aligned Data Centers, where he served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. In that role, he was the legal lead on multi-building, gigawatt-scale hyperscale transactions representing billions in estimated future contracted revenue. Before Aligned, he spent nearly nine years at Digital Realty Trust, first as Senior Director, Commercial Counsel and later as Vice President, Corporate Counsel. In those roles, he supported the Telx, Dupont Fabros, and InterXion acquisitions, managed customer leasing, and supported long-term operations across the development pipeline. He began his career in the corporate practice at Duane Morris LLP in Philadelphia and later joined the energy practice at McGuireWoods LLP in Pittsburgh.
