
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Miller-McCune magazine, has named Maier Media Group as its national advertising representative firm for its print and online publications. Kelly Maier began representing Miller-McCune on October 3, 2011.
Maier, based in California, reports to Geane deLima, director of sales and marketing for Miller-McCune.
Having logged over 15 years in advertising/publishing, Kelly has held numerous sales leadership roles, including: Midwest Manager of Mademoiselle, Elle and ElleGirl, House & Garden and Cookie magazines. After leaving Conde Nast, Maier was the regional sales director for Reader's Digest overseeing the Midwest and West Coast sales offices.
Maier was a finalist for MIN's (Magazine Industry Newsletter) Sales Executive of the Year in 2010. She is a graduate of the Indiana University with a BA degree in Economics, is a voracious reader and traveler, and is enjoying Southern California after relocating from Chicago last year.

Maier's appointment is one of several recent changes at Miller-McCune. The company has also named a new Editor-in-Chief, Maria Streshinsky, former managing editor at The Atlantic, and Art Director, Craig Edwards, previous Art Director at Architectural Digest. Steve Ainsley, former Publisher at Boston Globe, was hired as new Publisher and President in July 2011.
