Using the slogan #MoreMoneyLess feelings, the Drop &Vase agency has created a series of three ads in which the characters heartlessly sell objects they no longer use through Wallapop. "Objects may have feelings, but when it comes to earning money, you don't. So if you don't use it, Wallapop it. And ciao-ciao. Au revoir, hasta la vista, baby," they say.
In the words of Ana Vida, creative director of Drop&Vase: "With that creativity we wanted to make ironic relationships between objects and sellers going through the different insights of Wallapop sellers. Every product helps us to go through different reasons to sell. But there's one for all: if you don't use it. Maybe you are attached or not sentimentally to that product (not necessary in fact) but for sure if you wallapop it, is because you don't use it."
Along the same lines, David Freixanet, creative director of Drop&Vase, says "There are several tv ads for Wallapop, a way to explore the tones of insights on second hand market. The reasons for users to sell on Wallapop are not only a matter of being attached sentimentally to things… maybe you gain weight, you had a child, you are not skilled or you become vegan. You change, things change around you. Actually people act a lot without feelings if they can make cash with it and that's why we like to add the #moremoneylessfeelings concept to our TV spots."
Drop&Vase is a fresh and young creative agency based in Barcelona from where it operates with the rest of the world (UK, US, France, Japan, Spain, LATAM, etc.). In a very short time, it has succeeded in occupying an important position as one of the agencies with the most extensive TV coverage, thanks to a fresh ad that connects with consumers and to having obtained astounding conversion results that have led to the growth of important startups like Wallapop.
