MorEvents promotes Meghan Muniz to General Manager

DENVER, Jan. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MorEvents, a Denver, Colorado-based global event management company, announced today the promotion of Meghan Johnson Muniz to the position of general manager for the corporate offices in Denver. The appointment will be effective January 15, 2014.

Muniz is the first person to fill the general manager position, although the position has been on the company's organization chart since inception.

"Until Meghan came along, we never had the right person to fill the position," said Betsy Mordecai, MorEvents CEO. "Meghan has risen to the occasion; she can handle anything, and her plate that might be heaping never seems to overflow. She does more than requested and is always a step ahead. She never says no."

An event professional with 10 years of event management and meeting planning experience, Muniz was formerly senior account manager for MorEvents, managing three Fortune 500 accounts. She specializes in internal meetings, customer-facing sales opportunities, and sporting and hospitality events. In her new position Muniz will have a hand in all company decisions and will be working with clients from the operations and sales sides as well.

Muniz is currently enrolled in Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver and holds a BA degree in English and Communications from Villanova University.
