NOVI, Mich., Oct. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- 4Men, Metro Detroit's premier men's retailer since 1992, has opened a store with local Detroit fashion designer and Project Runway alumni Joe Faris to offer a unique retail denim heavy shopping experience.

Mike Alpert, originally from Detroit, is the founder and owner and a veteran retailer as well as an industry recognized trendsetter for over 40 years. 4Men has come to be known as The store in Metro Detroit for the latest brands.

Joe Faris, originally from Southfield, started his career as a young-men's denim and parachute pant designer in the late-eighties for Bugle Boy, while still studying at Parsons School of Design in NYC. Over his 30-year career Joe has designed for several high-profile fashion brands and he made Detroiters proud when he was a contestant on Project Runway Season 5. Joe founded Motor City Design Co. in 2011 and continuously works to produce products with manufactures in the USA.

Twelve Oaks Mall is located in Novi, Michigan and features nearly 200 distinctive specialty stores and restaurants and offers a World-class shopping experience. This is the first 4Men Joe Faris store in Michigan with other locations planned.
