
Mount Sinai Expands Vascular Imaging Services With Ultrasound Systems From MedPro Imaging

WAUKESHA, Wis., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- MedPro Imaging announced it has recently installed two GE Logic 9 ultrasound systems at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago. With the acquisition of the systems, this busy, inner city provider of healthcare services will expand its vascular healthcare services at both Mount Sinai Hospital and Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital located across the street.
Mount Sinai conducts up to 400 ultrasound vascular exams on a monthly basis. Established 90 years ago, this 291 staffed bed teaching, research and tertiary-care facility is designated as a Level I trauma center. Consequently, the healthcare professionals at Mount Sinai provide treatment for a wide range of vascular trauma injuries in addition to more routine cases. The nearby Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, with 102 staffed beds, offers ongoing vascular healthcare as well as other inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services.
