Mountain America Credit Union Donates $5,000 to the American Red Cross Through its Charitable Program with BYU Athletics

SANDY, Utah, Dec. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- For the third season, Mountain America Credit Union supported the American Red Cross through its Brigham Young University (BYU) field goal charitable donation program. With the football season coming to an end, Mountain America presented the American Red Cross with a $5,000 check. 

Since 2018, Muntain America has donated nearly $50,000 to the American Red Cross through its BYU football field goal and men's basketball 3-point shot programs to provide critical care and resources for those impacted by disasters and emergencies.

 "In addition to working alongside local agencies to respond to fires and disasters, the American Red Cross is also testing blood, platelets, and plasma for COVID-19 antibodies," says Nathan Anderson, executive vice president and chief operating officer at Mountain America Credit Union. During the 2020-2021 BYU men's basketball season, Mountain America will donate $50 to the American Red Cross for each successful three-point shot.
