For more than a decade, Moves set the standard as the premier lifestyle magazine for pro athletes, with such notables as LeBron James, Drew Brees, Roger Federer and Jimmie Johnson gracing its cover. To leverage the growing lifestyle and marketing convergence between sports and entertainment, Moves is evolving under new ownership into a diversified media company serving athletes, entertainers, managers, moguls, influential tastemakers and the advertisers seeking to reach them. The new movesmagazine.com, currently in beta, will begin accepting advertising this month and officially go live in January 2015, prior to the Super Bowl on Feb. 1st. In addition to a special digital collectors' edition of Moves magazine, beginning with the joint Super Bowl/Hollywood Awards Season Issue, Moves media and marketing properties will also include the video channel movesTV, hosting original and co-branded content, plus exclusive blog platforms, interactive social media and ongoing special events.
Moves Media Ventures, LLC is led by publisher and CEO Jay Levy, whose wide-ranging experience includes commercial real estate, luxury consumer goods and internet marketing. He is best known for creating the swimwear line Southern Exposure which was an early pioneer in e-commerce. Levy acquired Moves in 2013 with the goal of rebranding the franchise as a multi-channel lifestyle outlet. Partner, president and editor-in-chief Kelli Fabian comes to Moves following careers on Wall Street and in the music industry, having worked in artist relations and licensing at Universal Music Group prior to overseeing executive management and sales for her family's international lighting business.
Sports, marketing, music and motion picture executive Rick French, founder and CEO of consumer and sports marketing agency French/West/Vaughan, has also joined Moves as partner and editorial board chairman. In addition to serving as a trustee of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, French is currently executive producing the upcoming Relativity Studios feature, Not Without Hope, starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Prior to forming his eponymous firm, which has garnered four National Agency of the Year Awards over the past decade, French was an award-winning print and television journalist.

The official kick-off will coincide with the return of the annual Moves Super Bowl Party in Phoenix, Arizona. During Super Bowl week, Moves will also be partnering with Stealth SME to co-sponsor the Players Gala Golf Classic at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale on January 28, 2015, as well as a VIP Super Bowl viewing party and post-Super Bowl Players Gala at Drai's on the Las Vegas Strip, hosted by NFL Hall of Fame great Warren Moon. The Players Gala was a sanctioned NFL event for eight years.
