ATLANTA, March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Moxie Interactive, a division of Zenith Media Services and part of Publicis Groupe, has announced the addition of a president position at the agency and the appointment of Scott Neslund to that role. "Scott's impressive resume and track record were the first things that drew us to him," said Joel Lunenfeld, chief executive officer at Moxie Interactive. "Once we started digging a little deeper though, we found out that it wasn't just Scott's ability to substantially increase revenue growth or secure new types of top-tier clients that people spoke about the most, but rather it was also his genuine concern for his staff and the ability to help those around him grow. I couldn't think of a better person to partner with Moxie as we embark on this next chapter."
Neslund will manage Moxie's expanding operations as a result of recent new business wins from L'Oreal USA, RecycleBank, AIG, Rodale, BBC America and Pennington Seed along with additional assignments from current clients in the areas of social, mobile, creative, analytics, technology development, media and search. Over the past five years, Moxie has experienced double digit growth every year, which resulted in a massive expansion to the Atlanta headquarters this year. Neslund will relocate to Atlanta for the role and travel frequently to Moxie's offices in New York and Los Angeles. His responsibilities will include handling client relationships, developing new business, optimizing agency efficiency and managing agency resources.
Neslund has over twenty two years in the agency business, working with brands such as Starbucks, E*Trade, Gateway and Motorola, BP, Kimberly-Clark, Sears, Kmart, Unilever and Wrigley. He joins Moxie most recently from Red Bricks Media as CEO, where he was responsible for rebranding the company from a search specialist shop to a digital marketing agency. Prior to Red Bricks Media he served as CEO of Mindshare North America from 2007 to 2009, where he led their transformation from a traditional media shop into a full service marketing agency. Neslund's professional experience also includes serving as president of Starcom MediaVest Group's StarLink and executive vice president of the Starcom MediaVest Group, as well as global experience working at agencies in Milan, Tokyo and Toronto.
