Mt. Sierra College Announces New Appointment to Board of Directors
MONROVIA, Calif., March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Mt. Sierra College announces the appointment of a new member to its Board of Directors. The new appointment is Screenwriter, Director, Ms. Xialu (Lulu) Xue. Ms. Xue is currently the Associate Professor and Graduate Study Program Supervisor in the Literature Department of Beijing Film Academy as well as the Director of Beijing Film and China Television Screenwriters Committee.
As a Screenwriter and Director, Ms. Xue is best known for creating two very well known Chinese movies: "Finding Mr. Right" (2013) that won Best Picture and Best Director awards at the 5th China Image Film Festival, and "Ocean Paradise" (2010) that won Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Rookie Director at the 13th Shanghai International Film Festival.
Working behind the scenes, Ms. Xue served as the screenwriter for the movies: "Fighter For Sun," (2003) and "Together With You," (2002) as well as numerous Chinese TV series. Ms. Xue is also a published writer and her distinguished career in the Filmmaking industry brings to her service, as a member of the Board of Directors, more than 14 years experience giving her a broad perspective on the technology and the art of film production.
The appointment of Ms. Xue helps steer the college's governance as well as the successful planning and implementation of its global strategies.
