MTE Corporation, TEAL Electronics Corporation to Merge

MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. and SAN DIEGO, Jan. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- MTE Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of power quality solutions for commercial and industrial applications, is merging with TEAL Electronics Corporation, a world leader in the design and manufacturing of transformer based power quality solutions for medical, semiconductor, military and aerospace applications. MTE and TEAL previously were separate companies within the SL Industries (NYSE MKT:SLI) portfolio of companies, and will now operate as one company under MTE.

MTE and TEAL have a strong history of developing innovative, differentiated, patent protected technologies. MTE's power quality portfolio includes Matrix® AP passive harmonic filters, SineWave Guardian™ and dV Sentry™ motor protection filters, line and load reactors, DC link chokes and EMI/RFI filters for demanding industries such as industrial automation, water/wastewater, HVAC, oil and gas, elevators, and mining.
