MTS Environmental Solutions To Showcase Green, Safe And Sustainable Winery Cleaning Solutions At Unified Wine & Grape Symposium

BAKERSFIELD, Calif., Jan. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- MTS Environmental Solutions, a leader in providing innovative, environmentally friendly products for the food and beverage industries, is pleased to announce a new line of green, safe and sustainable synthetic mineral acids. These winery cleaning solutions are designed to replace many of the dangerous acids already used by many in the industry today, since they are just as strong as current chemicals but will not hurt those who use them—or those who later ingest the food and drink.

MTS plans to showcase these new products at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium in Sacramento, California from January 28-30. As the largest wine and grape trade show in North America, the symposium will feature 650 exhibitors in 730 booths and expecting more than 13,000 attendees. Presentations will cover all aspects of the industry.

For example, Jerry Baldwin, the former owner of Peet's Coffee and co-founder of Starbucks, will be the keynote speaker at the event. Baldwin owns and operates a vineyard in California's Sonoma Valley and produces the award-winning J. Baldwin Wines. He is also a founding director of Red Hook Ale Brewery and a founding contributor to the American Institute of Wine and Food.

In addition, MTS will attend the World Agricultural Expo in Tulare, California from February 11-13 and the California League of Food Processors in Sacramento from February 19-20.

Dangerous chemicals are unfortunately prevalent in the food and beverage industries today, but few realize that the same results can be had without posing a risk to the health of humans or the environment.
