Multi-Billion Dollar Worldwide Consumer Products Company Selects Document Security Systems RFID Solution

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Document Security Systems, Inc. (NYSE Amex: DSS; "DSS"), a leading developer and integrator of cloud computing data security, Radio Frequency Identification ("RFID") systems and security printing technologies which prevent counterfeiting and brand fraud, reported today that its DSS Plastics Group located in Brisbane, California, has received a purchase order for the first installation of its newly developed RFID Visitor Credential Management System from a large, international consumer goods company.

DSS's new Visitor Credential Management Software System automates visitor and personnel management with embedded RFID secure credentials manufactured by DSS Plastics Group.  The secure credentials, software and associated device hardware provide more efficient and secure throughput of check in and out of hundreds of daily visitors and tracking of visitors throughout a facility.  This particular system can be configured for use at sporting events, trade shows, concerts, corporations, secure facilities, government campuses or any installations where better management and awareness of guests in a building or campus provides is demanded.
