Munchkin, Inc. President Margaret Hardin Inducted Into New Mexico State University College of Business Hall of Fame

NORTH HILLS, Calif., Oct. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Munchkin, Inc., designer and manufacturer of clever infant and toddler products, today announced that its president, Margaret Hardin, was inducted into the New Mexico State University College of Business Hall of Fame for her outstanding work leading one of the nation's top baby products companies.  Hardin was one of only three recipients inducted in 2011, all of whom were honored at the college's Hall of Fame Banquet Sept. 23.

The New Mexico State University College of Business Hall of Fame recognizes exemplary alumni who distinguish themselves in their respected professions as well as demonstrate success in their community.  Hardin was selected among graduates to become the 35th honoree to the hall of fame.

Hardin's accomplishments at Munchkin, Inc. include international corporate acquisitions, successful licensing partnerships, equity transactions, global expansion, new product launches, and employee growth. She served as chief executive officer of Munchkin, Inc. for seven years and was promoted to president and chief operating officer in 2007.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in economics and management systems with high honors from the New Mexico State University College of Business.  Later, she earned her MBA in finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, became a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and member of the Young President's Organization (YPO), Los Angeles Chapter.
