Muscle Milk Light ZOOMA Women's Half Marathon and 10k Race Series Returns to Chicago on Saturday, August 2, 2014

CHICAGO, April 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ZOOMA, a half marathon and 10k series, is returning to Chicago on Saturday, August 2^nd, 2014. The first wave of runners will take off at 7AM. Register here to join the nearly 3,000 women who will be challenging themselves and inspiring others at Burnham Park in Chicago.

Join ZOOMA and sponsors Muscle Milk Light, Features Performance Socks, Honest Tea, Altra, Cytomax and Barefoot Wine & Bubbly for a full weekend of serious racing and celebration – including a sponsored mocktail party, recovery yoga, and fun times with running friends. The top finisher will be eligible for a cash purse of $100.

Hosted by Chicago's Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, the half marathon and 10K courses start and finish at Burnham Park, with inspiring views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. After the race, celebrate at the post-race party at Burnham Park with live music, wine, recovery yoga, massage, shopping, and lots of girls' weekend energy. All participants will receive a ZOOMA signature swag bag, Muscle Milk and food at the finish, Cytomax fuel on course, a finishers medal, and access to special room rates at The Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, along with free hotel shuttle transportation to and from Burnham Park.

Women aged 14 and up can participate in the ZOOMA race series. Entry fee is $75 for the 10k race and $105 for half marathon registration. Register early to avoid the price increase prior to the race date.
