FAIRMONT, W.Va., Aug. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of MVB Financial Corp., (OTC Markets Group OTCQB: MVBF) has declared its first quarterly cash dividend to date of $0.02 per share to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 1, 2015, payable September 15, 2015. The Board approved the transition from a semi-annual dividend to a quarterly dividend schedule at the August 18, 2015, meeting.
"The new quarterly dividend schedule is a result of executing our strategic plan to maintain a strong financial position for our shareholders and investors," said Larry F. In 2014, MVB paid a total of $0.08 per share for the calendar year. In August, MVB followed its record first quarter 2015 earnings of $2,103,000 with another quarter of strong earnings of $1,905,000 for the June 30, 2015 quarter. Through June, MVB had reported total net income of $4,008,000, or 88.4% greater than the first half of 2014.
