My Verified Pro Said Sites Like Angie's List Mean Well, But Are No Substitute for Background Checks in Verifying Tradesmen Are Who They Say They Are

According to co-founder of My Verified Pro, David Fredrickson II, Angie's List allows consumer reviewed businesses to pay their way to a higher position on its website. The companies and markets that pay to advertise are displayed in a tier-one category, which Angie's List compares to the letter grade "A" on a report card.  Angie's List Inc. is a membership service that compiles consumer ratings of local service companies and contractors nationwide.
