NAMWOLF Announces Search for New CEO
CHICAGO, Dec. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) announced that it is conducting a Nationwide search for a new Chief Executive Officer. NAMWOLF promotes diversity in the legal profession by fostering successful relationships among preeminent minority and women owned law firms and private/public entities. The CEO will lead the thriving organization and be responsible for promoting NAMWOLF and overseeing its overall management and operations.
The Board of Directors has established an Executive Search Committee that will identify and interview candidates for the CEO position. According to Lynn Luker, Chair of NAMWOLF, "the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience as an executive level manager in a non-profit association, law firm, in-house legal group or a related business." In addition, the CEO will have experience with budgeting, financial planning, fundraising, management and working with volunteers.
The CEO will report directly to Ms. Luker and work closely with the Board of Directors and NAMWOLF staff to manage and grow the Association. The CEO will also work closely and maintain strong relationships with NAMWOLF law firm members and corporate supporters.
