GARDEN CITY, N.Y., July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) announced today that Los Angeles will be the second stop on its three-city National Networking Summit Series. The event kicked off in Chicago in June and will culminate in New York City on November 6. The day-long event will be held from 11 am to 4 pm on Friday, August 7, at Los Angeles' Skirball Cultural Center, Guerin Pavilion. The event is sponsored by the American Heart Association, Apollo Education Group, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Dress for Success, Girls Inc., Operation Graduate, Professional Diversity Network and the University of Phoenix.

The event highlights include the "Whole Woman Power Panel" moderated by Ms. Jones; a Professional Diversity Career Fair presented by Professional Diversity Network, the parent company of NAPW; and a Career Pavilion with local and national hiring companies. Bed Bath & Beyond, Dignity Health, Gilead Sciences, Manpower and Office Depot are among the exhibitors at the Career Fair. Entertainment executive Suzanne de Passe of de Passe Jones Entertainment Group headlines the "Whole Woman Power Panel" which features dynamic business leaders and entrepreneurs Dr. Jennifer Jones (EntrepreneurShift); Ruth Klein (Expert Celebrity Branding / Western Regional Manager, NAPW); Lisa Rosenzweig (myFootpath); and Susan Sifuentes Trigueros (Southern California Gas Company).
The event begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the NAPW Mall, where retail vendors and NAPW members can showcase their businesses, products and services, and NAPW World—a designated area where attendees can purchase NAPW merchandise, sign up for membership and learn about the 200+ NAPW Local Chapters across the country.
