NaqCom Executive Director of Community Relations Named by INPRO's 'Native American 40 Under 40'
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- NaqCom Executive Director of Community Relations Nicole Lim will be named one of 2010's "Native American 40 Under 40" today at the 35th Annual Indian Progress in Business Awards Event (INPRO), presented by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED).
In honor of the NCAIED's 40th anniversary of incorporation, the "Native American 40 Under 40" Recognition Reception highlights 40 existing and emerging American Indian leaders under 40 years of age who have demonstrated leadership, initiative, dedication and exceptional achievements to their businesses, communities and Indian Country.

As Executive Director at NaqCom and of the California Indian Museum and Cultural Center, Lim has demonstrated significant leadership skills, legal expertise and success in the implementation of community outreach programs in California on behalf of diverse cultures and communities. With a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law, Lim conducts training for the National Indian Justice Center, the goal of which is to improve the quality of life for Native communities and the administration of justice in Indian Country through the design and development of legal education, research and technical assistance programs.
The INPRO Awards Banquet, being held this year at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, is known as the oldest, most prestigious Native American recognition event to acknowledge accomplishments and contributions made by American Indians and those who support their economic and business development endeavors. Proceeds from event benefit the American Indian Fellowship in Business Student Scholarship Program and support NCAIED's mission to develop the American Indian private sector.
