NAR - INDIA - 5th Annual Convention in partnership with CIMGLOBAL will take place on July 6th & 7th, 2013 at The Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi. Real estate in India makes an enormous contribution to development of the economy, national growth and GDP. Real estate has forward and backward linkages with over 165 industries and is the largest employment generator, perhaps only after agriculture.
While the building materials, construction equipment, finance and builder segment of the industry have fairly improved their business practices and a reasonably good degree of professionalism has come about, the transaction processes continue to remain by and large backward and in need of urgent reform.
India has several thousands of realtors or brokers operating in over 35 metropolitan cities. They represent interests of large corporations on the one side and domestic consumers on the other. NAR - INDIA has been fashioned not only as a single national level umbrella organization representing the interests of thousands of realtors/brokers operating all over the country, but also an organization which aims to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail.
Providing meaningful real estate education to all its members is one of the main focal points of NAR - INDIA. Keeping this in mind, an 'Education Committee' has been created with members from various state associations to design the methodology of imparting various education programmes.
The philosophy of NAR - INDIA is that there shall be a clear qualitative difference between its members all across the country, and any other practicing real estate consultant; education shall be the first differentiator between the two.
NAR - INDIA - 5th Annual Convention was first held in Pune in 2009 followed by Chennai in 2010, Hyderabad in 2011, Mumbai in 2012 with more than 1000 attendees.
