Nashville Couple Turns to Move Your Mountain for Online Fundraising to Fulfill True Love Bucket List Given Their Limited Time Together
RENO, Nev., Nov. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Given the diagnosis of stage IV liver failure with no hopes of a liver transplant, one Nashville couple is focusing on their time together instead of dwelling on the limited time they have together. Reaching out to the crowd, they are hoping to raise enough money to fulfill everything they have written on their True Love Bucket List.

Married for 10 years, Drew and Alicia began married life aware of the fact that Drew had juvenile diabetes and Alopecia Areata. Unfortunately, just two months after they were married, Drew became ill and started having grand mal seizures. He was then slowly diagnosed with even more conditions such as Celiac disease, IgA immune deficiency and Autonomic Autoimmune Ganglionopathy. Most recently, Drew was diagnosed with Buds-Chiari syndrome, a terminal illness that puts his liver in state IV liver failure.
Due to his previous autoimmune conditions, Drew was not a candidate for a liver transplant. His doctors have given him a vague timeline – months to a few years to live. What this couple did in the face of this last diagnosis, was both shocking and touching at the same time.
With an uncertain amount of time together, the Bookers decided to work on their "True Love Bucket List". They created a website where they have both made lists of things that they want to do for each other.
