DENVER, June 24, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Cannabis Chamber of Commerce, which promotes the infrastructure and business practices required for a sustainable cannabis industry, is partnering with The Indo Expo Trade Show in Denver on July 11 and 12, to run a business-to-business conference focused on relationship building between a range of product and service providers.
"This is a tremendous networking and business building opportunity whether you are a wholesaler, retailer or consultant already in the cannabis sector or looking to learn more and enter the industry," said Michael Miller, president, National Cannabis Chamber of Commerce. "Most of the businesses in this industry do not actually touch marijuana, rather they provide supportive products and services. It's a matter of taking what you already do professionally and applying it to this rapidly growing sector."
Businesses applicable to the sector are too numerous to name, but include: apparel; jewelry; smoke accessories; equipment; supplies/tools for harvesting and processing; lighting; nutrients; marketing; legal; technology; security; education; real estate and insurance.
The conference keynote speakers are: Senator Terrence Nelson, United States Virgin Islands; Cheryl Shuman, CEO of Beverly Hills Cannabis Club and noted industry leader; and Glendale, Colorado Mayor Mike Dunafon. A multitude of educational seminars will be held during the two-day conference covering a wide range of industry topics.
In addition to the business-to-business focus of the expo, the public is welcome to attend on July 12, the same day a job fair will be held allowing exhibitors to connect with those seeking employment.
