WASHINGTON, Oct. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Energy Marketers Association (NEM), a national non-profit trade association representing both leading suppliers and major consumers of natural gas and electricity, is hosting its 2016 Policy Leadership Roundtable on October 27-28, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Austin, Texas. NEM last held a Policy Leadership Roundtable in Texas in 2000 when retail electric competition was first being introduced. NEM has been a part of the industry since the beginning of energy deregulation, recognizing the significance of Texas' contributions.
