National Headache Foundation, HealthyWomen and Allergan Offer People Living With Chronic Migraine a Chance to "Rewrite Your Day"

(NYSE: AGN) today announced a partnership with the National Headache Foundation, a leading patient authority on headache disorders, and HealthyWomen, the nation's leading health information source for women, to launch the "Rewrite Your Day" campaign to educate people about the disabling symptoms and burden of Chronic Migraine. As part of the campaign, 15 people with Chronic Migraine will win a re-creation of a special moment lost to their condition – symbolizing the 15 or more headache days a month experienced by people living with Chronic Migraine.

Chronic Migraine is a neurological condition that impacts approximately 3.2 million Americans(1,2) and, according to a survey of 520 Chronic Migraine patients, is undiagnosed in approximately 80 percent of those who meet the clinical definition of the condition.(3) People living with Chronic Migraine have a diagnosis of migraine and experience headaches on 15 or more days per month with headache lasting four hours a day or longer.(4,5,6)

As part of "Rewrite Your Day," nationally recognized event planner to the Hollywood elite, Mindy Weiss, will lend her decades of celebrity event planning experience to the recreation of 15 special moments, such as weddings, anniversaries and birthday parties. The cornerstone of the campaign is an online resource, www.RewriteYourDay.com,  where people living with Chronic Migraine, and those who suspect they have it, can take a Chronic Migraine quiz to determine if their symptoms signal they may have Chronic Migraine, find a headache specialist who can help them and learn more about the condition and ways they can manage it. Fifteen winners will be selected by Ms. Weiss and an independent panel of health advocates; Ms. Weiss will re-create these events between October 2011 and December 2012.
