National MI's Susan Monahan Appointed to Illinois MBA Board of Directors

EMERYVILLE, Calif., Feb. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), a subsidiary of NMI Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ:  NMIH) announces that Susan Monahan, regional team leader with the company, has been appointed as a director for the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association (IMBA). The IMBA is a trade association comprised of approximately 165 companies and institutions whose business interests revolve around residential and commercial mortgage lending in the state of Illinois. It is the oldest mortgage banking association in the United States.

This week Monahan begins serving a two-year term as a director that will end in February, 2017. In addition to that position, she serves as chair of the Programs and Networking Committee, a role Monahan has held since 2012. In that capacity, she works with the association to plan events that help promote the IMBA's agenda and overall mission.  In 2014, Monahan was nominated for the IMBA's "Best in the Business" award.   A Midwest native, she has 20 years of experience in banking and financial services.
