National Rifle Association President David Keene Visits Penn United Technologies, Inc.

CABOT, Pa., April 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NRA President David Keene visits Penn United Technologies, Inc. and receives a donation toward the NRA's STAND and FIGHT Campaign.  This donation was awarded by Bill Jones, Penn United's President. 

Penn United Technologies, Inc. was selected to participate in the National Rifle Association's STAND and FIGHT Campaign in support of our 2nd Amendment.  Representatives from Penn United Technologies, Inc., Cabot Guns, and various other local businesses gathered at the Butler Country Club Thursday, April 4th for this dinner event.  Friday, April 5th David Keene, his wife Donna, NRA staff and local NRA members received a plant tour of Penn United's manufacturing facilities.  The tour participants also included Cabot Guns President Rob Bianchin, U.S.M.C. Gunnery Sergeant Brian Zins and Congressman Mike Kelly.  Upon completion of the tour Penn United's President, Bill Jones awarded the corporation's donation to the NRA.  

Penn United's employees were honored to host the NRA's tour of their facilities and display their manufacturing capabilities.  Fifteen percent of Penn United's employee owners are members of the NRA.  Center focus of the tour was the 1911 National Match Grade pistol designed and manufactured by Penn United, trademarked and sold by Cabot Guns.  Both Cabot and Penn United collaborate from design to final product and take this extraordinary firearm to the next level.  Presently, there are eight different models of the pistol with high hopes that their future efforts will bring more American manufactured products to the firearm industry.  Other manufacturing capabilities of Penn United include high precision components used in the Medical, Automotive, Fluid Handling, Oil & Gas, Defense & Aerospace industries.  They work with a company from the development phase of their product to completion meeting strict quality standards throughout the entire process.
