National Vapers Club Inc. Changes Ownership
The Board of Directors and former president/owner Spike Babaian announce transfer of all company interest to the Board
NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of National Vapers Club Inc. and its former president and owner, Spike Babaian, announced that Babaian has transferred all interest in the company to the present board of directors who have been assisting with the organization's management for the past two years. "I am pleased that the current board of directors will be responsible for the development of NVC during the next stage of its growth. The future of the organization cannot be in better hands," Babaian noted.
Chelle Schlake, Chairwoman of the Board and President further notes that, "the board of directors looks forward to continuing its mission to support consumers of vaping products through funding research, education and advocacy on the local, state and federal levels." David Kapple serves as Vice President and Cheryl Richter as Financial Secretary. Well-loved vaping personality, "Malice Doll" serves as Secretary/Volunteer Coordinator.
Since 2009, NVC has presented Vapefest, a semi-annual educational vaping convention which raises funds for e-cigarette research. The board announces it has scheduled upcoming Vapefest events for 2015 through 2017. Spring Vapefest will be held at the Flamingo in Las Vegas, March 6 -7, 2015. The dates and location for the fall 2015 Vapefest will be announced shortly at Vapefest.com.
Funds for e-cigarette research raised via 2013-2014 Vapefest events are currently held in trust while the board reviews research grant proposals. The board wishes to note their appreciation of Ms. Babaian's tireless work of advancing the cause of vaping and thanks her for her efforts.
