Utility System Covering Two Months Of Customer Utility Payments Amid Household Financial Challenges Due To COVID-19 Crisis
BATON ROUGE, La., June 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- National Water Infrastructure, LLC (NWI) has issued an additional credit to cover a second month of sewer treatment charges as a part of an ongoing initiative to provide financial relief to its customer base amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As the largest private utility operator in Louisiana, the company has committed to covering the cost of operations for nearly 17,000 customers for two months, saving customers a combined $1.5 million.

Following NWI's acquisition of Ascension Wastewater Treatment's sewage systems in April, the company has realigned its corporate values to further integrate measurable environmental, social and governance (ESG) principles into all facets of its operations.
