FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Walter Duke + Partners, a leading commercial real estate valuation advisory firm with diverse expertise, has changed names from Clobus, McLemore & Duke to align clients with the team that's in place and providing a range of professional services. The rebranding coincides with the company's 40th anniversary and highlights Walter Duke's deep personal connection and record of service to Florida, relationships in the community and the company's reputation for excellence in the commercial real estate business sector.
The firm's rebranding does not reflect any recent changes in ownership or team structure as Walter B. Duke, III remains the president and sole shareholder.
"As a nationally recognized commercial real estate valuation company with a multitude of services, our unbeatable strength comes from the firm's dedication to quality, the enormous presence of expertise on our team and the collaboration of our people," said Walter Duke, III, president of Walter Duke + Partners. "We changed the name of the firm to reflect these exceptional capabilities and important values. The rebranding of the firm also gives us the opportunity to say thank you to those who have helped in our success."
Walter Duke + Partners counseled developers and lenders on a number of current major projects, including Brickell's Panorama Tower, which will be Miami's largest mixed use skyscraper when completed, and SoLeMia, a planned $4 billion dollar mixed-use project being developed in North Miami.
The rebranding initiative dovetails with the firm's strategic goal of being an essential business partner to its clients and the leading company dedicated to providing critical analysis and information to corporations, government entities and individuals. Walter Duke + Partners is much more than a company that provides commercial real estate valuation reports, with services including: credit underwriting; estate planning; lease renewal; litigation support; market studies and economic analysis. The firm has earned the trust of clients, partners and the community, and its employees are known for keeping their commitments. Walter Duke + Partners approaches each assignment as a unique proposition, determining the best course of action based on the facts and circumstances, rather than implementing a "one-size-fits-all" strategy. The company does business differently and the rebranding gives the firm the opportunity to tell its story.
Walter Duke's record of public service in South Florida includes two years as mayor of Dania Beach, where he currently serves as a city commissioner. The firm takes pride in community investment and Walter Duke + Partners consistently gives to multiple, worthwhile causes, including The Dan Marino Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Humane Society of Broward County, Junior Achievement of South Florida, Seafarers House, United Way of Broward County, and UF Health.
