Native Foods Cafe offers guests everything but the bird -- and then some

The fast casual vegan eatery is taking online orders now for its adored Native Wellington, a savory, meatless take on the traditional Beef Wellington, topped with rich mushroom-shallot gravy, available for pick-up at all Native Foods Cafe locations through November 26th. Most locations will also host a bountiful Thanksgiving Day feast, with classic holiday favorites, on November 27th from noon to 7 p.m.

The chef-crafted, ready-to-bake Native Wellington consists of savory seitan, steamed kale, thinly-sliced yam, whole wheat bread, caramelized onion compote and herbed mushroom stuffing, all wrapped entirely in fluffy puff pastry. Each Native Wellington serves six to eight people and costs $39.95. Kitchen impaired need not worry; orders include instructions, guiding at-homers through the frozen centerpiece's suggested two hours of baking.
