NEW YORK, Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- NavaDerm Partners, LLC ("NavaDerm" or the "Company"), a dermatology platform and portfolio company of BelHealth Investment Partners, LLC ("BelHealth"), announced the appointment of Leonard Bernstein, MD, as medical director of Laser & Skin Surgery of New York ("LSSCNY").

Board-certified dermatologist and Mohs Surgeon, Leonard J. Bernstein, MD, is a graduate of Northwestern University College of Arts and Science where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. He received his Medical Degree at Northwestern University School of Medicine. He completed a dermatology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital / Northwestern University, where he was a chief resident, followed by a Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Laser fellowship at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York ®. Dr. Bernstein is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at New York Hospital/ Cornell Medical Center and holds an appointment in the Department of Plastic Surgery/Dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital / New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, and the Manhattan Metropolitan Dermatologic Society. He is the author of many research journal articles as well as textbook chapters on various laser and surgical techniques. He has lectured over the past 30 years at national dermatologic meetings and seminars.

LSSCNY also announced the formation of its Clinical Advisory Board, which includes board certified dermatologists and renowned experts in medical and cosmetic dermatology and will provide strategic clinical guidance to LSSCNY's medical director and NavaDerm's board. The Clinical Advisory Board will consist of Robert Anolik, MD, Yoon-Soo ("Cindy") Bae, MD, Roy Seidenberg, MD, and Ronald Shelton, MD. The Board will focus on maintaining LSSC's leadership and reputation for skin health care through innovative treatments and lasers. The Board will also rejuvenate LSSC's research capabilities and continue to work with leading device manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.
