Navy, Marine, Air Force Jet Fighters Headline Wings Over Wine Country Air Show
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Aug. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The PACIFIC COAST AIR MUSEUM (PCAM) welcomes Navy, Marine and Air Force front line fighter jets to an already stellar air show line-up of performers. The air show will be held at the Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport, Santa Rosa, CA on August 18-19, 2012.
The F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team from Lemoore NAS will thrill the crowd with their demonstration showing its tactical power, maneuverability, high performance and speed. The Marines will provide a rare AV-8B Harrier air show flight performance to commemorate the Centennial of Marine Aviation. A Harrier from MCAS Yuma and three helicopter gunships from Camp Pendleton will be on static display. The Air Force will provide a nostalgic Heritage Flight with an A-10 fighter and a vintage P-51 Mustang flown by renowned warbird pilot Steve Hinton.
Additional military participation in the Wings Over Wine Country Air Show includes U-2 "Dragon Lady" and T-38 overflights and a C-17 "Globemaster III" static display.

- Julie Clark performing a patriotic air presentation in her magnificent T-34
- Tim Weber tumbling and high-roll aggressive aerobatics
- Bill Cornick and Spencer Suderman each performing solo aerobatics in their Pitts Special aircraft and will also perform their Vertical Aerobatic Challenge

- One of the west coast's largest gatherings of flying P-51 Mustangs, P-40s and warbirds
