The Company and the National Laboratory partner are required to make certain additional submissions by July 8 2016 to the DOE as part of the semi-finalist review.
In the battery submission, the focus is on characterizing the battery and performing a deconstruction analysis to determine methods to increase the energy density and / or increase the lifetime of the battery.
