SANTA ANA, Calif., March 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The local trucking industry is hiring! With the right training, California Truck Driving Academy (CTDA) can put unemployed Southern Californians to work in a "demand occupation" in as little as 30 days.
"Local trucking industry employers come directly to CTDA to hire the best trained truck drivers in Southern California," said CTDA Director Byron Allen. "Many of our graduates are hired on the spot at our monthly job fairs because they are highly skilled and have a 98% California Department of Motor Vehicles pass rate."
Through CTDA's contracts with the Anaheim, Santa Ana, East Los Angeles County and Orange County Workforce Investment Boards (WIB), and South Bay I-Train, unemployed trainees may be eligible for CTDA training at no out-of-pocket costs.
Several local WIBs, funders of job training services for the unemployed, list CTDA's truck driving occupations as "demand occupations."
In as little as four (4) weeks, CTDA trainees can gain the skills necessary to work as licensed Class A professional truck drivers or obtain their professional Class B license.
CTDA will be having a Grand Re-Opening, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 22, 2012, at 4:00pm located at 921 North Poinsettia Street, in Santa Ana, California. Elected Officials, Santa Ana Dignitaries, and SACC Board Members will be present for this special event.
Since 2009, CTDA has successfully provided industry-leading, professional truck driver training and job placement assistance to unemployed Southern Californians.
CTDA is a licensed contractor under the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) for the federal government, and approved as a California Eligible Training Provider (ETPL) and a Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) vocational trainer.
CTDA provides superior, state-of-the-art trucking occupations training designed to equip trainees with the professional truck driving skill sets and equipment safety training that facilitates long-term career success. CTDA offers eight (8) top-quality, professional truck driver training programs for local driving, over-the-road and bus driving occupations. "Our goal is to be Southern California's best vocational truck driver training school," added Allen.
Local trucking industry employers like Werner Enterprises, CRST Expedited, Swift Transportation, Schneider National, Fox Transportation and Certified Transportation rely on CTDA to provide truck driving professionals who possess the skill sets, knowledge and abilities to successfully work as Commercial Truck or Bus Driver.
