Neighbors Health System CEO Honored as one of HBJ's 40 Under 40

PEARLAND, Texas, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Setul G. Patel, MD, MBA, CEO of Neighbors Health System has been inducted into the Houston Business Journal's prestigious 40 Under 40 Class of 2015.

The 40 Under 40 annual award recognizes the best and brightest up-and-coming professionals from a variety of industries in the Houston area. According to the HBJ, 400 nominations were received this year.

Neighbors Health System operates Neighbors Emergency Centers, a series of 24-hour freestanding emergency centers that have had exponential growth in Texas in the last few years. In 2008, along with a group of seven other emergency physicians, Patel founded Neighbors based on the belief they could provide patients seeking emergency care a more personalized experience than the traditional hospital emergency department.

Judges scored the 40 Under 40 nominees based on leadership, overcoming challenges, and community involvement. Honorees will be profiled in a special 40 Under 40 edition of the HBJ on October 30.
