AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Neogenis Sport today announced a robust partnership with Olympic Triathlete Hunter Kemper. The most decorated U.S. triathlete in history, Hunter Kemper is a four-time member of the USA Olympic triathlon team and one of only two men in the world to qualify for every Olympic triathlon (2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012).
As a BeetElite spokesman, Kemper will be working with the Neogenis team of scientists to create innovative and effective products for endurance athletes. Kemper will also help educate others and spread the word about the natural benefits of Nitric Oxide.
"We're so proud to have Hunter join the BeetElite team," said Joel Kocher, Founder and CEO of Neogenis Sport. "He is an incredible athlete who has competitively stood the test of both endurance and time. His belief in all natural training, including using BeetElite, is a testament to the power of the proper training and nutrition."
Kemper has won seven USA Triathlon Elite National Championships. In 2005, he became the first U.S. male triathlete to finish the season ranked No. 1 in the world and was selected as the U.S. Olympic Committee Sportsman of the Year, joining the ranks of Olympic legends such as Michael Phelps and Michael Johnson. That year, he also received the prestigious Jim Thorpe All-Around Award. Other career highlights include earning the gold medal at the Pan Am Games (2003) and gracing the cover of a Wheaties box four times.
"The power of beets is undeniable," said Kemper. "Neogenis has developed a superior product, BeetElite, that is all natural, vegan, non-GMO, and only 4 ingredients. After you try BeetElite once and experience its benefits there will be no other product more important for you to have before your daily training sessions and goal races than the BeetElite NeoShot."
Kemper's stellar career in triathlon is a testament to the power of hard work, determination, and perseverance. On more than one occasion, he has battled back from devastating illness or injury—including a shattered elbow and subsequent staph infection that kept him out of action for several months in 2011-2012—to turn in an outstanding race performance at the 2012 U.S. Olympic trials. He continues to compete at the highest level of the sport and is eyeing a bid for a record-breaking fifth U.S. Olympic Team berth in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
Numerous professional athletes, including a number of professional football teams, as well as Division I athletic teams have embraced BeetElite as an integral part of their sports nutrition regimen.
